frequently asked questions
Ideally you should have your photographer booked at least 4 months out. While it's possible I have a date available closer to your wedding day, that's not always the case, especially during peak wedding season in the Summer and Fall. I'd recommend booking sooner than later to secure your date!
how far in advance do i need to book you for my wedding?
This is entirely up to you! I recommend a first look if you wish to enjoy cocktail hour after your ceremony and family portraits rather than being pulled aside to do portraits with you and your new spouse.
Do you recommend a "first look" on the wedding day?
First, we get to know each other better! We will then discuss everything you wish me to know about your big day. We can even schedule a consult call before you make the decision to book with me so that you can feel confident in knowing exactly what you'll get from me for your wedding day.
What can I expect from a consultation call?
While this truly depends on your needs for the day, I'd suggest a full day's coverage (8-10 hours) for your wedding. This ensures we capture every single moment of the day. Partial day coverage (4-6 hours) works well if you have a much smaller wedding and don't need all the bells and whistles.
how many hours should we set aside for wedding photos?
Turnaround for weddings is 7-8 weeks. You'll receive a highlight gallery about a week after your wedding, which includes about 20-30 images of important moments throughout your wedding day!
how long will it take to get our photos delivered?
Yes!
I started out photographing families, maternity, and seniors, and I still do them today. Often those whose weddings I've photographed have come back to have their growing family documented, and it's such an honor to do so.

I'm based in the northwestern corner of New Mexico in a town named Farmington. I grew up here and frequently travel all over the four corner states and beyond!
